HYMERCAR now offers the perfect camper van for newcomers to the world of motorhoming in particular. When it comes to the vehicles in the new “Free” model range on a Fiat Ducato chassis, the name says it all: the HYMERCAR Free stands for individuality, self-sufficiency and offers a premium package and exclusive features.
The HYMERCAR Free is available in two layouts: the 540 and 600. Both feature a compact vehicle length of under six metres and a kerb weight of under three tons. This means that the Free models have enough space for your luggage, as well as your surfboard, bicycle and so on. However, the necessary level of comfort is also ensured. There is a generous double bed in the rear that can be folded up out of the way, and a table with a swing-out extension is perfect for lavish meals. The abundance of storage space and a bathroom with a fixed washbasin and outdoor shower function – made possible by the pull-out bathroom fittings and window – mean that you can even go camping away from the well-known campsites. There’s also a suitable place for storing food provisions on longer trips way off the beaten track: the 540 layout has a compressor refrigerator with a 65 litre capacity, whilst the HYMERCAR Free 600 is equipped with a 90-litre model. Plenty of storage space for clothing and equipment is also ensured. What’s more, the smaller 540 layout has a medium height wardrobe, and the Free 600 even has an additional floor-to-ceiling wardrobe.
When it comes to interior design, the new models feature a bright and stylish look. Matt white surfaces and silver-grey details combined with oak tones create a harmonious interior. Pleated insect screens pre-installed in the factory make balmy summer nights in the great outdoors a particularly enjoyable experience, whilst the standard insulated windows and the insulated floor mean that city breaks or winter sports trips are even possible during the colder months. The HYMERCAR Free is not only the perfect companion for trips alone or as a couple – thanks to an optional pop-top roof, the models can also be used for holidays for groups of three or four people. For even more comfort and luxury, HYMERCAR also offers the “Ready to camp” equipment package for the Free: it includes concertina cab blinds for the cab or modern alloy wheels. “The HYMERCAR Free is a successful mix of fantastic features,” says Karsten Berg, Sales Manager for HYMERCAR and HYMER Motorhomes. “The small size of the Free model range is especially suitable for adventure enthusiasts and means that it can also be used for day-to-day activities.
