Hymer GmbH & Co. KG and Mercedes-Benz have been bound by a strong partner-ship for many years. This has resulted in the popular HYMERCAR Grand Canyon S and HYMER ML-T, amongst other things. Flexibility, adventure and comfort is what really sets these vehicles apart, and the four-wheel drive models have been impress-ing customers for many years already. When the new Sprinter was launched, it was only logical that both the Grand Canyon S and the ML-T would be based on the new vehicle. The company from Bad Waldsee will be unveiling these vehicles to the public at Caravan Salon 2018, making holidays off the beaten track a possibility from sum-mer 2019 onwards thanks to the four-wheel drive option. The new combination of 7G-Tronic automatic transmission and optional four-wheel drive means that the new HYMERCAR and semi-integrated HYMER vehicles will be able to cope perfectly with any road and weather conditions. An especially high level of safety and a smooth drive are ensured by the latest generation’s increased traction, improved driving sta-bility and ADAPTIVE ESP®. Numerous extra driver assistance systems such as Crosswind Assist, Active Brake Assist and DISTRONIC Active Distance Assist also play their part in this. Three proven engine options with 143 hp, 163 hp (4-cylinder) or 190 hp in the case of the 6-cylinder, 3-litre engine ensure you have all the power you need.
Visually, both models are perfectly in tune with the design of the new Mercedes-Benz Sprinter. As a result, they have a particularly streamlined and modern exterior. When it comes to the interior, the vehicles are notable for their new cockpit featuring abun-dant storage spaces, as well as the sophisticated and luxurious living and sleeping areas you would expect from HYMER.
The new HYMERCAR Grand Canyon S and the new HYMER ML-T are available now. The models featuring four-wheel drive will be available from dealers from summer 2019 onwards.
