Hymer and Eriba present their latest innovations for the upcoming camping season

08/30/2024
  • Hymer GmbH & Co. KG, the leading manufacturer of premium motorhomes and caravans, will be presenting several new products from its Hymer and Eriba brands at Caravan Salon 2024 in Düsseldorf.

Travel the difference: With the new Hymer CrossOver special edition models

Simply hit the road, take the next turn on the spur of the moment and explore the world off the beaten track, far away from the usual campsites. The new “CrossOver” special edition models of the Hymer ML-T 570 and Hymer Grand Canyon S are equipped with precisely the features you need to travel in this unrestricted way. The “Lund Leather” special upholstery with green accents and premium diamond stitching is exclusively available for the CrossOver model of the Hymer ML-T 570. What’s more, the vehicle’s striking exterior design and neon green design graphics typical of crossover models create a fresh and dynamic look. Outdoor enthusiasts will love the Grand Canyon S CrossOver with its innovative, roll-up comfort sleeping system, which creates more space during the day and guarantees a great night’s sleep.

Where power supply is concerned, both CrossOver special edition models come with a wide range of self-sufficiency features and equipment as standard for the very first time, making independent travel the standard. The ML-T 570 CrossOver has two 95 W solar panels and a 1,800 W inverter. For maximum flexibility, the Hymer Grand Canyon S CrossOver comes with a battery system with 4x80 Ah lithium batteries, a 95 W solar panel and an intelligent inverter with 1,300 W continuous power as standard. The self-sufficiency package for both models includes a fresh water filter, a second cassette toilet and a 6 kW diesel heater.

The new “CrossOver” edition models will be available from dealers from September. More information and images can be found here.

Ahead by a length: The Grand Canyon S 700

For those who want to experience van life but don’t want to miss out on maximum comfort, Hymer now presents the Grand Canyon S 700. Due to its vehicle length of just under seven metres, the big brother of the Grand Canyon S comes with an uncompromising amount of space that opens up new possibilities for intelligent interior design. Two longitudinal rather than transverse single beds ensure that the bodywork is hardly any wider than that of a car, for example. A fully-fledged swivel bathroom as well as plenty of storage space in the separate wardrobe next to the bed are the perfect additions to the spacious interior.

Travellers also have a choice of two different style collections to make them feel right at home: “Ivy Green” with its homely felt accents and “Pearl Grey” with its welcoming oak finish. Both style collections feature a cosy seating area and a four-level lighting concept. On request, the Grand Canyon S 700 can be equipped with four-wheel drive, a pop-top roof or the Hymer premium sound system, as well as many other optional extras.

With a large 93-litre fuel tank and a payload of up to 940 kilograms, there’s nothing to stop you from going on longer trips or making detours on the spur of the moment. A diesel-powered hot-air heating system with boiler reduces the requirement for gas, while the energy-saving, 90-litre compressor refrigerator operated with 12 volts and the 80 Ah lithium battery system increase self-sufficiency on the road. Using the Hymer Connect app, travellers can view the exact battery level and other important installation data at any time, and also intuitively control a variety of vehicle features.

The new Grand Canyon S 700 will be available from dealers from September. More information and images can be found here.

Black on track: The new BlackLine edition of the Hymer B-Class ModernComfort

With the new BlackLine edition for the semi-integrated and integrated models, the popular Hymer B-Class ModernComfort (B-MC) motorhome available in five different layouts has been given a sporty makeover. The tasteful exterior design of the Hymer B-MC is truly impressive. The name says it all – the Super Light Chassis (SLC) with “Obsidian Black” cab really stands out from the silver-coloured bodywork. Black design graphics also give the motorhome a dynamic look. All in black, the 16" rims and awning also blend in perfectly with the colour scheme of the Hymer B-MC BlackLine edition.

The modern, concrete-effect flooring inside the vehicle brings urban living to any destination. The standard “Plus” equipment line and Living Comfort package leave nothing to be desired. Additional equipment lines are available as an option, enabling customers to choose the equipment that best suits their needs. With a clever storage space concept, an elegant kitchen, a spacious sleeping area and a luxurious bathroom, you can hit the road right away.

The new B-MC BlackLine has been equipped with the Hymer Connect sensor package for the very first time to make it easier to use the digital features. A gas level and temperature sensor as well as two contact sensors supply useful vehicle data to the Hymer Connect app and on-board display. Campers in particular will benefit from the detailed digital display and how intuitive the app is to use.

The new integrated and semi-integrated Hymer B-Class ModernComfort BlackLine will be available from dealers from September. More information and images can be found here.

Eriba presents Touring sustainability concept vehicle

Motorhoming has always been closely associated with using resources in a responsible way. A healthy and intact environment is the most important prerequisite for unforgettable travel experiences. That’s why Hymer GmbH & Co. KG is already focusing on sustainable production methods to live up to its environmental responsibility.

The company is now further pursuing this aim with an Eriba Touring concept vehicle: presented for the first time at Caravan Salon Düsseldorf, it retains the characteristic features of the Touring model, but makes greater use of environmentally-friendly materials. Natural Fibre Composites (NFCs) rather than oil-based materials are used for the pop-top roof of the Touring concept vehicle, for example. At the same time, these materials should help to reduce CO₂ emissions by reducing the weight of the caravan. In addition to reducing the weight by using modern, lighter materials, another innovative approach to reducing the carbon footprint is the use of recyclable components or those containing a high proportion of recycled material.

The Eriba Touring concept vehicle will be presented for the first time at the Caravan Salon in Düsseldorf.

For even more variety: The new Eriba Touring 620 and Eriba Car 602 layouts

Eriba is adding new layouts to its Eriba Car and Eriba Touring model ranges. The Eriba Touring caravan model range will now include the spacious 620 layout, for example. With a large kitchenette including a large refrigerator and a spacious seating area at the rear, which can be converted into a bed in a few simple steps, the Touring 620 offers plenty of space for campers.

A new layout of the motorhome on the VW Sprinter chassis is being launched on the market with the Eriba Car 602. The new layout variant now has a large seating area at the rear, which can be converted into a spacious bed. A redesigned wardrobe provides even more storage space.

The new Eriba Touring 620 and Eriba Car 602 layouts will be available from dealers from September. More information about the Eriba models can be found here
