Travel the difference: With the new Hymer CrossOver special edition models

Hymer evokes wanderlust of campers who value freedom and independence with its new “CrossOver” special edition models.

The Hymer ML-T 570 CrossOver and the CrossOver edition of the Hymer Grand Canyon S now come with self-sufficiency features as standard and a choice of special upholstery options.

The intuitive control of the vehicle features using the Hymer Connect app makes travelling easier.

Simply hit the road, take the next turn on the spur of the moment and explore the world off the beaten track, far away from the usual campsites. For many people, this way of travelling is the epitome of freedom and independence. The new “CrossOver” special edition models of the Hymer ML-T 570 motorhome and the Hymer Grand Canyon S camper van are equipped with precisely the features you need to travel in this unrestricted way, including digital support. The new special edition models are the embodiment of pure ambition and complete supremacy with their design, chassis and interior. True to the motto “Travel the Difference”, improved self-sufficiency options and useful off-track assistants also make the difference waiting to be discovered on the road. The luxurious and harmonious interior design also ensures the perfect holiday experience, even on adventurous trips. The CrossOver decals featuring a stylish outdoor design with fresh green accents are a visual highlight of the new special edition models.

The ML-T 570 CrossOver: Unrestricted travel that breaks with conventions

Available in the popular “Native Bamboo” style collection, the motorhome features bamboo accents, a cosy fleece in the sleeping area, a trendy tiled wall in the kitchen, matt black fittings in the kitchen and bathroom as well as premium push-lock mechanisms with a real leather strap. The “Lund Leather” special upholstery, which perfectly complements the CrossOver exterior design with its green accents and premium diamond stitching, is new – and only available for the CrossOver model. Bright green elements can also be found on the exterior and create a fresh and dynamic look together with the “Tenorite Grey Metallic” paint finish for the cab and the “Crystal Silver” bodywork.

The ML-T 570 CrossOver also makes a difference where power supply is concerned. A new self-sufficiency package, installed as standard for the very first time, makes environmentally conscious and independent travel the new standard. Two 95 W solar panels, a 1,800 W inverter, a 6 kW diesel heater with an electric immersion heater and a 157-litre compressor refrigerator ensure you have a supply of clean energy, wherever you are. A fresh water filter and a second cassette toilet guarantee even more freedom on your travels.

The extra off-road equipment makes exploring even the most remote places an absolute pleasure. Standard 16-inch off-road tyres with wheel arch expansion at the front, as well as an engine and water tank protection plate ensure maximum safety on any terrain. The LED lightbar above the cab ensures the best visibility at all times and can even be coupled with the full beam. Travellers will find a practical toolkit in the rear area, ensuring they are prepared for any eventuality.

Ambitious, aesthetic, self-sufficient: The new HYMER Grand Canyon S CrossOver

The Grand Canyon S Crossover is the perfect model for newcomers to camping who prefer the design of a camper van, yet also enjoy the freedom provided by an extensive range of equipment and features. Available in the “Ivy Green” interior style collection, outdoor enthusiasts will love the olive green furniture finish, homely felt wall linings, the premium panels on the windows and doors, as well as the four-level lighting concept with individually adjustable light temperature. An innovative, roll-up comfort sleeping system with integrated disc springs improves the ergonomics in the sleeping area. The optional CrossOver special upholstery “Lund Leather” can be ordered for the driver’s seats and bench seat. The exterior of the special edition model features the “Tenorite Grey Metallic” colour, which is complemented by the neon green CrossOver decals.

Self-sufficiency features ensure maximum flexibility. Unlike the standard model, the Grand Canyon S CrossOver comes with a battery system with 4x80 Ah lithium batteries as standard. A 95 W solar panel is now also standard, with the option to add one more for two in total. An intelligent inverter with 1,300 W continuous power, a fresh water filter, a second cassette toilet as well as a 6 kW diesel heater and a 90-litre compressor refrigerator complete the self-sufficiency update to the popular camper van.

To make driving both safe and easier, even when tackling the difficult conditions presented by an off-road route, the Grand Canyon S CrossOver comes with the same features as the ML-T 570 CrossOver. In addition, an electric off-road step installed as standard makes it easy to get in and out of the vehicle whenever you stop, while the parking package including a 360° camera ensures that you arrive at your destination feeling relaxed after an exciting day on tour.

The HYMER Connect app makes complex technology easy to manage

Both CrossOver models are compatible with the Hymer Connect app. The luxury of connectivity ensures that you feel completely free when travelling, because the app makes motorhoming easier with its intuitive and clear controls for numerous vehicle components and features. Whether it’s the lighting, heating, the accurate display of filling levels or the accurate monitoring of the battery charge percentage, the most important status parameters of the vehicle can be viewed at a glance and controlled remotely.
