The HYMER B-Class ModernComfort is the perfect outcome from the successful partnership between Mercedes-Benz and HYMER. The vehicles of the ModernComfort series are the first motorhomes in which a specially developed chassis tractor head from the new Mercedes Benz Sprinter is merged with a chassis made by a motorhome manufacturer. Thanks to a combination of the award-winning HYMER SLC chassis, the renowned PUAL technology and the GRP lightweight floor, this new generation of motorhomes combines an especially light and stable body with improved safety and driving comfort.

    Versatile double floor

    The generous, heated double floor boasts vast storage space, top insulation values and a level living area floor. It features a large number of thermal compartments for the waste water and fresh water tanks as well as for electrical installations. Excellent insulation protects all the cellar compartments from frost and heat – even in extreme weather.

    Level living area floor

    A level living area floor stretches from the cab through to the sleeping area. As a result, the headroom remains constant throughout the interior and there are no steps to trip over.
  • Roof window / crank roof vent with included LED lighting

    Pleasant light and fresh air

    The new HYMER panoramic crank roof vent, which is used in all motorhome model series, scores with even more headroom thanks to its lower construction. By embedding it in the living room design and, depending on the floor plan, with additional ambient lighting, it fits perfectly into the harmonious overall picture of the vehicles. Thanks to the best possible rain protection, it enables permanent ventilation as well as quick ventilation when positioned at an angle. It is also backwards compatible with the existing HYMER crank roof vent.

    Important information regarding the selection of your motorhome

    When buying a motorhome, camper van or urban vehicle (hereafter: motorhome), it is particularly important to choose the right layout and an appealing design. In addition, weight also plays an essential role. Family, friends, optional equipment, accessories and baggage – space must be available for all of these. At the same time, there are legal and technical limits to the configuration and load. Every motorhome is designed for a certain weight, which may not be exceeded during driving. For motorhome buyers, this raises the question: How should I configure my vehicle to accommodate passengers, baggage and accessories according to my needs without the vehicle exceeding this maximum weight? In order to make this decision easier for you, we provide you below with a few tips that are particularly important when selecting your vehicle from our portfolio:

    * The specified mass in running order is a default value defined in the type-approval procedure. Due to manufacturing tolerances, the actual weighed mass in running order may deviate from the value stated above. Deviations of up to ± 5 % of the mass in running order are legally permissible and possible. The permissible range in kilograms is given in brackets after the mass in running order.  The manufacturer-specified mass for optional equipment is a calculated value for each type and layout that HYMER uses to determine the maximum weight available for factory-fitted optional equipment. The limitation of optional equipment is intended to ensure that the minimum pay-mass, i.e. the legally prescribed free mass for baggage and retrofitted accessories, is actually available for the vehicle load capacity of the vehicles delivered by HYMER.  The real weight of your vehicle ex works can only be determined when it is weighed at the end of the line. If, in exceptional cases, the weighing shows that the actual load capacity falls below theminimum pay-mass despite limiting the optional equipment due to a permissible weight deviation, we will check together with your trade partner and you whether we should, for example, increase the load capacity of the vehicle, reduce the number of seats or remove optional equipment before delivering the vehicle.  The technically permissible maximum laden mass of the vehicle and the technically permissible maximum mass on the axle must not be exceeded.

    Important information regarding the selection of your motorhome

    When buying a motorhome, camper van or urban vehicle (hereafter: motorhome), it is particularly important to choose the right layout and an appealing design. In addition, weight also plays an essential role. Family, friends, optional equipment, accessories and baggage – space must be available for all of these. At the same time, there are legal and technical limits to the configuration and load. Every motorhome is designed for a certain weight, which may not be exceeded during driving. For motorhome buyers, this raises the question: How should I configure my vehicle to accommodate passengers, baggage and accessories according to my needs without the vehicle exceeding this maximum weight? Due to manufacturing tolerances, the actual weighed mass in running order may deviate from the value stated above. Deviations of up to ± 5 % of the mass in running order are legally permissible and possible. The permissible range in kilograms is given in brackets after the mass in running order.  The manufacturer-specified mass for optional equipment is a calculated value for each type and layout that HYMER uses to determine the maximum weight available for factory-fitted optional equipment. The limitation of optional equipment is intended to ensure that the minimum pay-mass, i.e. the legally prescribed free mass for baggage and retrofitted accessories, is actually available for the vehicle load capacity of the vehicles delivered by HYMER.  The real weight of your vehicle ex works can only be determined when it is weighed at the end of the line. If, in exceptional cases, the weighing shows that the actual load capacity falls below theminimum pay-mass despite limiting the optional equipment due to a permissible weight deviation, we will check together with your trade partner and you whether we should, for example, increase the load capacity of the vehicle, reduce the number of seats or remove optional equipment before delivering the vehicle.  The technically permissible maximum laden mass of the vehicle and the technically permissible maximum mass on the axle must not be exceeded.

    Important information regarding the selection of your motorhome

    When buying a motorhome, camper van or urban vehicle (hereafter: motorhome), it is particularly important to choose the right layout and an appealing design. In addition, weight also plays an essential role. Family, friends, optional equipment, accessories and baggage – space must be available for all of these. At the same time, there are legal and technical limits to the configuration and load. Every motorhome is designed for a certain weight, which may not be exceeded during driving. For motorhome buyers, this raises the question: How should I configure my vehicle to accommodate passengers, baggage and accessories according to my needs without the vehicle exceeding this maximum weight? Deviations of up to ± 5 % of the mass in running order are legally permissible and possible. The permissible range in kilograms is given in brackets after the mass in running order.  The manufacturer-specified mass for optional equipment is a calculated value for each type and layout that HYMER uses to determine the maximum weight available for factory-fitted optional equipment. The limitation of optional equipment is intended to ensure that the minimum pay-mass, i.e. the legally prescribed free mass for baggage and retrofitted accessories, is actually available for the vehicle load capacity of the vehicles delivered by HYMER.  The real weight of your vehicle ex works can only be determined when it is weighed at the end of the line.     When buying a motorhome, camper van or urban vehicle (hereafter: motorhome), it is particularly important to choose the right layout and an appealing design. In addition, weight also plays an essential role. Family, friends, optional equipment, accessories and baggage – space must be available for all of these. At the same time, there are legal and technical limits to the configuration and load. Every motorhome is designed for a certain weight, which may not be exceeded during driving. For motorhome buyers, this raises the question: How should I configure my vehicle to accommodate passengers, baggage and accessories according to my needs without the vehicle exceeding this maximum weight? Due to manufacturing tolerances, the actual weighed mass in running order may deviate from the value stated above. Deviations of up to ± 5 % of the mass in running order are legally permissible and possible. The permissible range in kilograms is given in brackets after the mass in running order.  The manufacturer-specified mass for optional equipment is a calculated value for each type and layout that HYMER uses to determine the maximum weight available for factory-fitted optional equipment. The limitation of optional equipment is intended to ensure that the minimum pay-mass, i.e. the legally prescribed free mass for baggage and retrofitted accessories, is actually available for the vehicle load capacity of the vehicles delivered by HYMER.  The real weight of your vehicle ex works can only be determined when it is weighed at the end of the line. If, in exceptional cases, the weighing shows that the actual load capacity falls below theminimum pay-mass despite limiting the optional equipment due to a permissible weight deviation, we will check together with your trade partner and you whether we should, for example, increase the load capacity of the vehicle, reduce the number of seats or remove optional equipment before delivering the vehicle.  The technically permissible maximum laden mass of the vehicle and the technically permissible maximum mass on the axle must not be exceeded.

Equipment

You are already more than a step ahead of other motorhomes even with the standard equipment in the HYMER B-Class ModernComfort I. How much additional luxury you treat yourself to is completely up to you.

    • The feel-good factor – centrally controlled

      Individual temperature adjustments and the boost function for fast hot water supply and room heating - can be controlled via the central LCD control panel for the heater, also equipped with a timer.

    • Soft closing and safe handling

      All kitchen drawers are equipped with roller bearings for ultra-smooth action. They feature high-quality Soft close mechanisms and one-handed push-locks that prevent the drawers from opening and rattling when the vehicle is on the move.

    • Everything fresh and perfectly chilled

      Despite its slender dimensions, a 142-litre Smart-Tower refrigerator including a 15-litre freezer compartment ensures you have plenty of cold drinks and fresh food in summer. Its interior is also clearly organised with practicality in mind.

    • High-capacity water tank

      The fresh water capacity is an impressive 180 litres − for more convenience and greater self-sufficiency. The tanks are protected inside the insulated and heated double floor, and can be conveniently accessed from inside the vehicle.

      Powerful drive

      This engine provides a powerful heart for the vehicle – with 150 hp as standard for high-torque acceleration and optimal power transmission.

      Optimal insulation thanks to PUAL technology

      The PUAL-foamed walls with aluminium inner and outer skin are an important component of the vehicle’s durable high-tech bodywork. The excellent insulation of the closed-cell PU foam guarantees pleasant temperatures throughout the year and low gas consumption in winter.

    • Comfortable fold-down bed

      The fold-down bed can be raised and lowered manually with minimal effort. It offers maximum freedom of movement and headroom. The comfortable bed surface can be used across the entire width – even in the front part of the vehicle.

    • Double-sided garage access

      The rear garage is equipped with two large garage doors as standard – one each on the left and right side in the direction of travel. This means the garage can be easily loaded from both sides. This guarantees optimal access, and you can reach your luggage from the outside at any time.

    • Pleasantly controlled climate

      The semi-automatic climate control TEMPMATIC ensures a pleasant temperature inside the vehicle. The system simultaneously dehumidifies the air, which prevents misting of the windows from inside. In addition, an integrated particle filter protects against pollen and dust.

    • Convenient 7 inch touch display

      The 7 inch touch display enables convenient control and monitoring of important vehicle functions and components. From the charge status of the body battery, the display of the fresh and grey water tanks to the heating control.

    • Multifunctional comfort

      The height and angle-adjustable swivel cab seats are fully upholstered in the same fabric combination as the living area. Their exceptional seating comfort and tiltable arm rests make them ideal for settling down to watch TV and for relaxed driving.

    • Efficient lighting

      The interior lighting throughout the vehicle features LED technology as standard. This cuts energy consumption by 75% and gives you hours of extra battery life. Since LEDs don’t get hot, this also improves fire and accident safety.

    • Versatile luxury table

      The high-quality table can be rotated 360° and adjusted both horizontally and lengthways as required.

    • Your living room on wheels

      The standard L-shaped seating area gives you top seating and living comfort wherever you are.

    • Sleep in comfort

      For optimal air circulation, the rear beds are equipped as standard with multi-zone cold foam mattresses including high-quality mattress toppers. They ensure you sleep comfortably and wake up refreshed.

    • Practical loading compartment

      A large, extra-deep cellar compartment is accessible from both outside and inside the motorhome to ensure easy loading.

    • Optimal protection from below

      The nearly indestructible GRP underbody makes the motorhomes virtually immune to damage caused by inclement weather. Stone damage, grit and dirt are likewise kept at bay – a solid foundation for the service life of your entire motorhome.

    • Active Brake Assist

      The Active Brake Assist can help prevent or limit the consequences of collisions with vehicles in front or pedestrians crossing. Included as standard with 41x chassis/engine.

    • Automatic headlights

      The automatic headlight control or headlight assist system switches the low-beam headlight on or off according to current light conditions. This provides more comfort for the driver as well as enhanced safety.

      All the room you need

      The large, easy-access garage can carry a maximum payload of 350 kg as standard – a 450 kg version is available as an option.

      The standard concertina cab blinds made from a premium pleated fabric protect your motorhome from prying eyes and excessive sunlight in summer.

    • LED rear lights in a striking design

      The multifunctional rear lights include LED hybrid technology and a signature design featuring the three bars of the HYMER logo – and provide excellent visibility even in challenging conditions.

    • Perfectly insulated double floor

      All cellar compartments, installations and tanks are housed in the double floor and are protected from frost and heat – even in extreme temperatures – thanks to the excellent insulation.

    • HYMER SLC chassis: the ideal undercarriage

      The innovative SLC chassis (Super Light Chassis) features an extra-high, heated and insulated double floor. As a result, the vehicle has even more storage space and a level floor. Thanks to its seamlessly level underbody, the SLC chassis increases driving stability and provides superior aerodynamics.

    • Stay on track even in windy conditions

      The Crosswind Assist is fitted as standard. It recognizes lane deviations caused by strong crosswinds and supports the driver with automatic braking interventions to keep in lane.

    • See and be seen

      The new, specially developed HYMER headlights include LED fibre optics with integrated LED daytime running light and indicators to ensure optimum visibility. This ensures perfect illumination in traffic, for even more safety. The LED technology also has low power consumption.

    • Flexible multifunctional sideboard

      In the seating area, the new sideboard provides extra flexibility and creates additional shelf and storage space. It features a pull-out seat as well as a shoe compartment and a multimedia compartment containing two 230 V sockets and a twin USB socket.

    Sardinia in August - departure to the island of colours

    "Terranova" is still called the lively coastal town of Olbia with its large, modern port, which is the first to greet visitors to Sardinia. Until 2016 it was one of the capitals of the then dissolved province of Olbia-Tempio and attracts hundreds of thousands of tourists to the lively area around the harbour promenade in summer. Provincial character meets main traffic arteries here.
